So I know size does not mean anything in our gardens, but 3.75 per 1000 watts is our new record.
I think the next room may break that.

Using gavita light covering 5x5 area per light
If you compare to regular digital covering a 4x4 area it's the equivalent of 2.5lbs per light.
But less electricity and better quality.

    Death bubba

We are getting 2.4lbs per 1000 on the digital ballasts.
Getting around 3.75 per 1000 gavita.
Both are averaging 0.88grams per square foot per day.
The gavita using less power and produces better herbs.

    5...........amazing
    Gavita?
What strain? Square footage per light?

We are thinking of spacing out the gavita a little more and doing 5 1/2foot or six feet spacing.

This perticular record was done with PL lightning, 6 x 6 spaceing, 54 l pots, Canna coco, 4 plants per light.
I leave you guessing as to thé hundred or so more factors implicated.

    Their average is 4-4.5.

    Woah thats some heavy yields!
I would like to try out the cool DE fixtures and the 315w cmh's as well, but gosh darnit they are a pretty penny.

Ya Bro, you would bé better off drippin à few 600 watt Solis tek (Sun pulse) 6.4 k vertically for Up to around week 8 and switch to 9.4k for thé uppercut.
All DE fixture technology need Blue support lighting.

nice, I forgot about the sun pulse bulbs, gotta try out that combo. trying to switch to sog from vert, looking at hoods to convert and new stuff too, trying to convince myself de`s are the only logical investment.

De are thé best. Keep them 40-48 inches above canopy in sog and have some 600 blues hang vert between thé rows as to mix spectrum thoroughly and still get some pénétration in thé lower parts of your girls....Although DE have a hell of à photon punch @2100 micromols.

Been contemplating between gavita or PL, though leaning towards PL.

The NXT-low profiles look awesome, and with the ability to swap reflector types seems like a good idea.

I havent heard or seen much results from the oem type de fixtures, like the adjusta wing conversion reflectors etc, seems like ones better off going with something from a reputable mfg like PL.

We havent flowered with a reflector for many years, so im excited to push the sog and play with some new lighting tech!

Thanks, as always, for the tips, much appreciated.
